Follow these simple steps add some authentic Italian seasoning to a classic dish.
Ingredients:350g minced meat (pork/lamb/beef)1 red onion3 tomatoes250g ricePreparation:Mix the seasoning (mix voor balletjes) with the mince and make into meatballs roughly 3cm in diameter. Cut the onion into half rings and the tomatoes into wedges. Cook the rice according to package directions without salt. Once the rice is cooked, mix in the seasoning (mix voor rijst) along with 4 tbsp. of oil. Fry the meatballs until browned, add the onion and continue to fry them off. When the onions begin to color, add the tomatoes. Leave over medium heat until the meatballs are cooked and the tomato sauce is formed. Serve with seasoned rice.
